Our online Children’s Yoga Workshop offers 5 sessions to get kids established in Isha Hatha Yoga practices to balance their body, mind, emotions and energy systems. This workshop is suitable for children aged 7 to 13.

Workshop Details:

DATES (5 sessions): 16th, 18th, 22nd & 26th February + 1st March
TIMES: 3.30 – 4.30 pm for each session (GMT time zone). Please login 5 minutes early for kids to settle in before we start.
LOCATION: Online via Zoom (link will be sent upon registration)

This yoga session is taught by Shayla Ghelani who is trained and certified through the Isha School of Hatha Yoga, under the guidance of Sadhguru – with more than 1750 hours of in-class training. Find out more about her live workshops here.
Please find the session guidelines below:
  • Kids will need to be on a light stomach condition for the practices, which means 1.5 hour gap after a full meal, 45 minutes gap after a snack and 30 minutes gap after any beverage (except water).
  • You will need to register for and attend all 5 sessions to learn the practice in sequence. Ensure you clear your kids’ schedules so they can dedicate just over an hour for each session.
  • Please ensure kids have a private space in your home where they will not be disturbed by anyone (family, pets, devices) for the duration of the session. Please also keep mobile phones off so that they can focus on the practices. It is important that you create a conducive atmosphere for kids to be able to receive maximum benefit from the session.
  • Kindly log in at least 5-10 minutes before the class starts so kids can settle in and we can start the session on time. Session log in will be closed at the scheduled time.
  • It is highly recommended you use a Laptop/Computer instead of a mobile phone. This will be essential to be able to see the demonstration clearly. It’s best if you test your Zoom video camera and audio to ensure it works prior to  joining the session.
  • Also, please keep videos ON throughout the session so we can observe your practice and offer individual corrections.
  • You will need to have a powerful and stable internet connection so that you can go through the session seamlessly.
  • Kids will need a yoga mat and small cushion that will not compress. It is best to sit on the floor in a cross-legged position during the session.
  • The most conducive clothing to practice yoga in is loose, organic cotton (or any natural fabric). If you don’t have organic, then loose cotton clothing is best.
  • Please DO NOT record the yoga sessions on any device. You will receive links to the yoga videos after so you and your kids can practice on your own at home.
